Pat Cole, owner of Briny Bee Enterprises, LLC, has a B.S. in Communications (focus on Organizational Communications) and a Management Minor, and an M.S. in Professional and Technical Communications.
Pat has decades of experience in various aspects of communications including technical writing, document quality control, editing, graphic arts, proofreading, and research.
Subject matter has included aeronautics, engineering (civil, environmental, and geotechnical), fabric and textile arts, human resources, marketing, real estate, science (geology, hydrology, industrial hygiene, and medical), and technology.
Document types have included academic papers, articles, corporate and other newsletters, corporate recruiting materials, engineering and scientific reports, handbooks, letters, manuals (aircraft and other maintenance, fault isolation, human resources, policies and procedures, and style), marketing brochures, presentations, proposals, real estate ads, resumes, speeches, and website content.
Pat has worked with company-specific style manuals, as well as the following commonly used styles: APA, Chicago, GPO, MLA, GPO, and STA (USGS).
